Heavy jug with 'Y' marking

Does anyone know who made this jug and any more details about it would be most helpful. It is quite heavy. Many thanks



cant figure out to add the 2nd photo in (when I try it keeps on posting the same one I've already uploaded). I will have to try later. There is a marking on the base that looks like a Y
