Te he - possibly an attempt to discourage patrons from popping them in their suitcase as a souvenir.

Here is the sweet  plate I brought along on Sunday to the RSA .

185mm dia x 85mm high Green Red Green edge banding.

Huka Lodge was upgraded around 1987 to a luxury standard so this design
possibly dates from then.
