Jack Davidson Marks
The "Marks of NZ Potters" book states Davidson had no mark. I don't have any marks to show you myself, but the auction below contradicts this. Davidson's daughter says he had either a JD mark or signed his pieces with the "Jack" signature, which you can see on photo 18 of the auction.

Re: Jack Davidson Marks
Oh Wow, thank you for alerting us to that auction t&c. That's quite a booboo in the Potters' Marks book! There is a fair bit of this work around and we may even have a piece on the site somewhere ..? I'm sure that is a Len Castle bowl in that auction with the ribbon decoration, along with a great line up of potters. I see Simon Manchester is bidding with enthusiasm.
Jack Davidson
This is probably old news but Jack Davidson's daughter verified to me in email that Jack Davidson signed his pieces "Jack" prior to 1979, and it is Davidson, not Davison as listed with NZ potters.Inc
