Mark Cleverley to talk in Auckland on 13 Sept!
Just a quick reminder that Crown Lynn designer Mark Cleverley will be speaking at the Going West Books and Writers Festival on Saturday 13 Sept 2014.
The talk starts at 9.00 am and is in the Titirangi War Memorial Hall, 500 Titirangi Road, Titirangi, Auckland
Mark worked at Crown Lynn through the 1970s and is a very influential designer - and an interesting speaker!
Here is a link to my blog post which contains a lot more information about Mark's talk. I will also be on stage (I wrote the Crown Lynn books) along with Jonty Valentine who has just published a book about Mark Cleverley.
Many of you will already know that there is also an exhibition of Mark's work at the Objectspace Gallery in Ponsonby, featuring some of his Crown Lynn design work, plus his work on designing postage stamps and other media.
