For gallery CL 1297 grape carafe and a 4016 Small Salad bowl
I think this is the matching carafe to my 1296 goblets (thanks to the Waihi second hand shop for allowing me to photograph it.)
Unmarked base (blurry photo!)
Also this Egmont bowl is sized halfway between the salad bowl and the desert bowl.. I have never seen one before and not sure if it is in the gallery. Thanks to Pete from Thames Crown Lynn shop for this one. 19.5 cm across top, 7 cm high.

Fantastic Val thank you and I got photos of the modellers drawings of this today!
Not sure about the bowl, but maybe one day we will sort that one out ...

Ev it is absolutely wonderful to see these modellers drawings, a big job for you to photograph them all, well done. I have added the measurements of the Egmont bowl in case that helps.

I think the 2nd from the left drawing is the 1298 Hop Emblem Beer Mug from 3.3.79
Does anyone agree?

You've got my vote too, Ev.
I'm curious about the double images on the drawings.
Could this be "original" size and final product size (allowing for various shrinkages)?

Re: For gallery CL 1297 grape carafe and a 4016 Small Salad bowl
Thanks guys, I will add it to the Gallery as then we know what we are looking for.
I'm as new to this as you are Jeremy, but yes some say 'fired size' ... I forget the other term they use for the raw product. Also if the item comes in say 2 or 3 sizes the drawings show this and I will add an example ..
This vase comes in three sizes

This is the nearest that I can find to your measurements Val, which are 198 x 67 what do you reckon? Shape 4016 is called a Small Salad bowl in the records ..

Re: For gallery CL 1297 grape carafe and a 4016 Small Salad bowl
Wonderful Ev. I reckon thats it. My hasty measurements are very close to the more careful Portage dimensions. And Egmont and Yucatan have the same shape larger salad bowls.

Re: For gallery CL 1297 grape carafe and a 4016 Small Salad bowl
I have a couple of the Yucatan bowls I got last year from Tikipunga.
Smaller and slightly different profile from the colour glaze salad bowls.
Just presumed they were already in the gallery.
I'll add a photo when I get home.

The better of the two has gone to Val.
The other has a crack so will be going out one day when it finally falls apart.

Re: For gallery CL 1297 grape carafe and a 4016 Small Salad bowl
I found a small salad bowl today in the Palm Springs colours. It has a teeny flea bite on the rim, but as I've never seen one before I had to get it. I will use it in the kitchen thank you Crown Lynn.
Re: For gallery CL 1297 grape carafe and a 4016 Small Salad bowl
Just to add that I picked up a 1297 Grape Emblem Carafe today and it will go with the little goblets that Val gave me
Re: For gallery CL 1297 grape carafe and a 4016 Small Salad bowl
I'm pretty sure I have one goblet to spare, Ev (unless I gave it to Jim):
are you wanting to make up a full set?

I'm fine with just the two goblets Jeremy, thanks though.
Re: For gallery CL 1297 grape carafe and a 4016 Small Salad bowl
I am sitting outside a spark wifi booth in the rain, so have to be quick. I found a carafe today that looks very similar to the above, but has J30 on the base, so I wondered if it was Titian. It also came with a matching stopper with a grape leaf on the top. Sorry photos will have to wait till our camping trip is over, which will be soon if the pouring rain and high winds keep up. Is there any records of a j30?

Re: For gallery CL 1297 grape carafe and a 4016 Small Salad bowl
There is a 1323 Carafe with Grape Pattern that we don't have, but we have no idea what it looks like either. No idea about the Titian thought, so will wait to see pics. It's just started raining here after a freezing day. Good luck with the weather down there.
Diana bottle
So, now that we are back, here is a photo of the carafe I found. It stands 205mm high excluding the stopper, and 115mm diameter just above the base, or at the widest point.
The stopper has a matching leaf on it.
The base is stamped J30. Unsure what this is or who made it. I note that the grapes and leaves pattern is different to the ones above. Any thoughts?

Re: For gallery CL 1297 grape carafe and a 4016 Small Salad bowl
This is lovely mumof1 and the only thing that comes to mind is that Titian used a J for their Jugs. I will check out the Crown Lynn Modellers records though, hopefully tomorrow and alert you if there is anything similar.
Re: For gallery CL 1297 grape carafe and a 4016 Small Salad bowl
I will save you the time Ev, but thanks anyway. I have discovered it was made by Diana pottery, from the Nefertiti range, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Vintage-Retro-Diana-Nefertiti-Stoneware-Carafe-Decanter-Bar-J30-/262352460167
