I have been wondering if there is much CC around in this glaze. Very glossy and almost iridescent. The first two are marked and the glaze moves from black to plumy burgundy. The third mug has a different handle, unmarked, lighter, less burgundy in the glaze and seems to be cast in four parts (the others seem to be two part) and a similar but more rudimentary foot ring.

Mike,
Brilliant mug shape and I'm not sure I have it.

I like the look but I can't think of anything I have in that glaze.

I can take a picture to our Clay Craft lady, Linda, in Hikurangi but have no plans to go there this week.

This mug has Clay Craft on the base and it is a known CC glaze. It is a similar shape to two of Mike's on this post - note that little blip on the handle. The glaze on Mike's is unusual, and we must remember that Clay Craft shapes were reproduced by other potteries.
