Don't think it's 1768, but what would it be?
If the postage wasn't so silly I would get it, but I'm not bothered at that price.

I've wondered about this mug and have always thought it had a stick-on handle which would put it in the 3000s (perhaps the 3800s). I have two and they have no shrinkage on the inside where the handle joins as would be expected from slipware.

Some numbers are very difficult to read, so it could be anything really.
