In the Portage collection the loving cup has the number 164. In the gallery it is the rabbit with basket.

Maybe the loving cup has a handpotted number?
I see they don't go that high in the gallery,
and I think the final product was slipcast but who knows.
The posting of the Portage files will doubtless turn up many such puzzles.

The loving cups were all numbered from 1 to around 1,000.
These were handpotted and are marked as such.
The 164 rabbit is in the castware records.

The number is not a handpotted number, but the number of the cup made, e.g this one is number 164 of the 1000 made. I wonder how many there are still around? I have a couple.
