Crofter Ware Salt Pig

As I was away in the weekend I just had to stop at a shop I spied on the way. At first this salt pig was not so impressive, and unmarked on the base, but...

Then I looked INSIDE it, and this is what I found (how did they get that stamp in there anyway? )

It is a lovely and very well-designed salt pig! Do you have an idea of when they would have been made? It was the family salt pig for as long as I can remember, which is getting up there now...

very nice...I love McSkimmings...Benhar pottery. Your salt pig would most likely be made in the 70's.
