1388 Planter - Small
Thanks to the Portage Ceramic site I was able to identify this planter and will use it for the 1389 Medium and the 1390 Large shapes as well as they look the same, but are different sizes. These were first made in August 1983.
This doesn't have a hole in the base, so a plant in a pot would sit in it like a jardinière. There are no markings, but the litho is recognisable as it was one that Crown Lynn used.
Surprisingly the lip has been finished with a line of gold ....!
