Wonderful Cat, as that is Lindsay Baine's mark
I only know this because I updated some info in my potters marks book the other day, and Papa Pottery Taihape is what I added to the mark. Will pop it in the gallery.

The Baine family sold their house and moved away from Taihape several years ago.

We had this plate made for my Mums grave in Germany 10 years ago by Papa Pottery.
He used my own simple design. A piece of NZ pottery history in Germany.

This photo was taken before the headstone was installed.

A very early mug

This is a really good big mug, and one of the first made by Lindsay at Taihape, so he tells me.

The message goes right around the mug. I don't use it now as it is too big for me, so I listed it on TM, and the buyer was Lindsay!
