Whangapoua Pottery ~ Annette Stephenson

This is a small, but lovely dish with little trees on a hillside

I have seen pieces with this name on TM, and wondered who the potter was that signed Whangapoua Pottery, but after some time, I never came up with anything, until yesterday!!

I spent a couple of hours scrolling down Tim Coulton's facebook page, reading all the posts (I never got to the end I have to say), and I found one on just this potter. What confirmed this was the mention of a little cross (very tiny it is, and easily overlooked, except that I was listing this piece, so I magnified the photo). The mystery is now solved, and I know that it was made by Annette Stephenson. Thanks Tim !

Wooo Hooo for getting the Marks book Kat, now there will be no stopping you!!
The Whangapoua mark was authenticated by the maker and yes it very much looks like the Noel Snelgrove mark doesn't it ...
Not sure if this will work, but here goes ...

Another freebie from Pamela. Very nice mug.

83mm H x 77 OD top
The cross is really tiny and almost invisible.
