Re: Juliet Peter
Wow - that's a great platter. She was a very good engineer of the bases of these abstract design platters too. I hope someone does a proper book on Roy and Juliet one day - they deserve it for their centrality to New Zealand mid century art, design and ceramics. Roy was the godfather of probably well over half the proper backyard kilns in this country.
The quality of their pots was also among the very best in the studio pottery world (I mean the world not just NZ) from the 1960s to 1980s.
Thanks for showing us this platter Sid. Maybe you could take a few other pictures from different angles?

Re: Juliet Peter
Thanks for you reply teaandcoffee. I have have to agree that Roy and Juliet produced fantastic art work.
Their work is eagerly sought after by both art and pottery collectors. Have added in a couple more photos, plus the only other piece of Juliet's work that I have.

Re: Juliet Peter
Photos courtesy of the Ferret:
Is this Juliet Peter's work and mark?
The Ferret says it is, but it would be great to have confirmation.
Edits to add that Rick Rudd said it was her earlier work.
