This bowl has a lovely glaze to it, but that mark (if that's what it is) has me stumped
The base is unmarked, so I have assumed the potter has stamped the side of the bowl.
I feel I have seen this before, but so far have turned up nothing.
I found a set of spice jars, here are 2 of them
The mark looks like an upside-down heart with a stroke through it. I wondered if it was Val Bryant?
Lastly this pretty little vase, strange glaze feels like bisque
I am assuming this M incised on the side of the vase is the potter's mark

Its easy to not see what your looking for in the marks book.
& the patterns gallery is worse..my eyes have been going fuzzy looking for a green pattern like Cornwall..

Les Macleman
Hi,
The mark for the raw glazed vase is Australian potter Les Macleman.

Thanks for that info bretthenrymurphy
I just want to add how surprised I am at the few pots that turn up here from Australia.
I've only found a couple that I've identified.
It's a shame that you have become a guest Brett ....
