Another David Huffman Mark
Yes David is still a local to Whangarei & I hear also potting again, Yay!
I bought this Tea set & Trinket Box direct from him about 1995, these all have the DH mark & are typical of the Matt finish he was producing then, after 2000 I asked him for a replacement sugar bowl it has his later full signature mark like this Lovely Glossy Green Vase of his,... just beautiful!!.

Re: David Huffman
Thanks Kat, as I hadn't seen his signature mark.
Most potters used a series of marks over the time they make pottery and it is important to try to record them all.
I will pop it into the Gallery

OOh, a red variation on that glossy green vase has just come into work, I was just wondering whether it would be worth putting onto the work Trade Me account - we generally list things we can get $10 or more for that we know we wouldn't get the same price for through the shop - I don't know how sought after his work is

Re: David Huffman
I noticed a beautiful vase made by David Huffman in the Wallace Arts Trust Collection and found two online. Just making a point that his work is collectable.

2 Huffman desert bowls
2 shocking green David Huffman desert bowls.
A pleasant find at the Sallies as I have not seen this colour from DH before.
It matches our kitchen.
175mm OD, long potters mark visible at bottom of footring
