Wayside on Apollo ... is Coaches Green d548

In that unusual Green/Oyster and I have a feeling that we have this already, but I can't find it so any help would be appreciated



Genuine Ironstone on the base..

On the Apollo shaped ware this Wayside pattern is called Coaches
Coaches Brown d547
Coaches Green D548
Coaches Blue d549

Can't find any Coaches Oyster and wondered if Janice may have come across it.

My search started because of this auction on ebay which isn't on Apollo but that is where my search ended up. Interesting auction nevertheless ...

Ev. I have Coaches Green D548 and a plate which is oyster - but that does not mean it is correct ! Just the way I have filed paperwork with an image.

The Pattern book shows Coaches Green D548 using glaze 435/4 - which is the same for Springwood green and Galatia ( with the brown Universal Ring)
If that helps any?

The Ebay listing is a darker, truer, green looks like the same green used for Riverside Green d098

You are right Janice, thanks. It was the Wayside pattern turning into the Coaches pattern that led me up the garden path.

Just to confuse things I have..
Wayside Blue but with a different number on a Apollo dinner plate.

Oh dear, we have Wayside Blue d27600 in the gallery from honjohn, but it looks like a rimmed plate arghhhh

I just found hon-john's original photo and it sure looks like a rimmed plate and not Apollo, but he says it has the same number.
