'Glenn said he went to DCR in early 1977. Mark and Paul Lorimer and Ashley Thor were there at the same time. Paul Tobin had left and moved to Colville. There is an article in the NZ Potter magazine - vol 23 - number 2. - 1981. Glenn said he had 2 pottery stamps but hardly ever used them. One was a 'tea tree' seed he pressed in. It was very small. The other mark he finds hard to explain but is looking for a pot with it on. He stopped potting in 1987. Here is a photo of a teapot I have of his. I asked Andrew Van Der Putten if it was his as the handle looked like his. Andrew said it was Glenn's pot. That is when I asked Glenn about it prior to the teapot exhibition at Ricks a couple of years ago. I'm looking forward to catching up and sorting early potting history in the Coromandel."

Glenn Beattie has confirmed that he made these two pots, thanks to the Ferret cheers

"They are not bisc fired. Covered with white slip - let to dry - timing was crucial then salt fired"

I am so ecstatic as I recognised these pots as being made by a great potter cheers
