Royal Oak Fox Bookends
From Jim's fab collection...
Fox heads glued on painted wood bookends with old Royal Oak Pottery stickers on the bottom? they look like they are original..the wood is lightweight with brown paint & rings like ceramic..but we are sure it is painted wood now after much discussion
OMG If these are Royal Oak what other animals did they make?

Re: Royal Oak Fox Bookends
The Fox heads are definitely ceramic and I wonder who made them before Royal Oak painted them? I would say this is before the time that Royal Oak made their own pottery. Crown Lynn made some book ends, but not the same as these.

From what I was told Royal Oak sold all sorts including wood ware in the early days. More when I get back to that interview. This is just a note to remind me.
