A couple of weeks ago we popped into the Oakleaf Antiques shop in Taupo and the owner asked me to have a look at a swan. Which I obviously agreed to do.

Well, was I surprised when he showed me a numbered Crown Lynn black medium swan in perfect condition. It was the first time I clapped eyes on a real one! Was I careful handling it? Oh yes.

He said that it is the first one ever he has come across.

I did ask how much he would like for it knowing that it would be out of my price range. Still one MUST ask anyway.
He is going to sell it on Trade Me in the near future and let the marked decide. I am looking forward to watching the auction.
