Could this panther be NZ made? Yes it was made by Forest Ware
I am wondering if he is NZ made. Even though the base is coloured in black the panther is not a hobby ceramics piece. It is too heavy and the black glaze has the not completely totally black look like a lot of Aquila pieces have. The black glaze has a slight deep grey tint to it.
He is not as tall as the white standing up Aquila polar bear that is in the gallery.

Yes it was made by Forest Ware and we just added one to the Forest Ware Gallery and it is stamped Forest Ware.
