Mistral Empty Mistral

Post  Ev Wed 30 Sep - 18:52

I saw this pattern last week and thought that we had it already and didn't check.  I think we do have a posting from Janice for the shape of something.  Anyway I was told that there was this pattern that we don't have at a certain opshop, so I raced over and got it after checking out the Gallery.  There is no number for this in the Database.  It is made in the Stoneware Classic range from the early 1980's. Note the Grafton Ironstone Devaz wreaths on the base.  Very lovely indeed.

Yes it is odd isn't it ..... though I think Mistral is a deeper blue/green.

We can't argue with the back-stamps LOL - Q. is Mistral is a red or brown back-stamp?
When we next meet up, we should compare the colours of the patterned side of the plates Cool

I think the backstamp is in red, but I will check.

Here they are side by side ... Mistral then Blue Lagoon.
