This is NOT Florentine Blue 284
Florentine Blue 284 is Milano Blue pattern on a rimmed plate as per Auckland Museum notes.
I would say this is it - Ev do you agree?
There is a Florentine 469 could be the another colour on a rimmed plate ( just guessing)

Pretty Blue Flowers is Milano Blue d183
OK I know this pattern and I've seen it before, but short of looking through the whole Patterns Gallery I thought I would put it here in case someone knows if we already have this. If not then I will gladly look through the records that I have on file.
This is such a cool fresh delightful pattern!

umm "Houston we have a problem" -- milano blue is in the gallery under 226 as a coupe.
We have not got Milano blue 226 as on a rim , which looks just like florentine blue?

Milano Blue 226
Ev... Okay.. lost the plot here !! This plate is Milano blue 226, just been to check!!
There is a pattern called Florentine blue which would look exactly like this one as per the musuem notes. the DS number is 307A whereas Milano Blue is 307 ( would the A mean its reversed? like the chintz pattern has that kind of reference )

Re: Pretty Blue Flowers is Milano Blue d183
Well done Janice. Yes the Milano d226 in the Gallery is a coupe shape and I will remove it. Didn't know a lot when that was posted in here ...

Aha at least we are both on the same track here
I will leave it to you now as you have a definite for the Milano Blue rimmed.
Yes it could be reversed for the Florentine indeed it could be!
I have deleted Florentine Blue in the Gallery Janice.

Just putting these two side by side as I feel like there could be different depths of blues on these .. It's not just the different cameras is it?

Looks to me as the same Murray Curvex engraving with 2 different colours. Not unusual.
