Titian Butterfly or Moth wall vase 912

I have thought for years that this wall vase was Titian, but the number does not fit with the known numbering system. Today I found a listing where the vase is marked Titian Pottery and also has the number 912. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=979701725

So now I am confident is was made at Titian. This now poses 2 questions -
Was it made before or after Crown Lynn took over (notice the dot after the number)?
The one in the auction is glazed, and my one has a Salisbury finish, so did Titian make blanks for Salisbury too?

The Titian Studios in script is an old mark, 1957 to mid 60's according to Gail Henry, so wouldn't be from the Crown Lynn days.  The modeller who went from Crown Lynn to Titian, used dots for both companies.  Yes Salibury's used pottery made by Titian that they painted too.

This also explains the Titian fish wall toothbrush holder which I have as a definite Titian glazed example and also as the bisque decorated by Salisbury version.
Now I know that the bisque versions were made by Titian too.

How odd to see this different moth/butterfly that the trader says has a 912 number on it

They say it has hand inscribed 913, but that could be a date, 9/13 perhaps? Have asked for a close up, as when I blew the photo up, I could only see 2 digits.

The seller probably watched the proper Titian wall vase auction from above and assumed that any similar looking butterfly wall vase is made by Titian too.
A few months ago someone sold several Titian and Crown Lynn vases plus a butterfly wall vase which I pointed out to the seller as a definite Diana Studio vintage butterfly wall vase but I wasn't believed.
It sold for quite a lot too.
It will be interesting to see if mumof1 question will be answered.

I have added this Titian Butterfly to the Salisbury Ware/Royal Oak Gallery. Only saw it thanks to a listing on TM that I was checking out.
If anyone knows of anymore shapes that Salisbury's painted that are not in their Gallery please alert me to them.
