I spent about an hour today with Rick Urban at his Warkworth shop Ofhandandheart, buying a couple of mugs (Ross Mitchell-Anyon, OC Stephens), and talking about many things, including Byron Temple and Lanier Meaders. Very entertaining.

Rick has asked for assistance in identifying the maker of this unmarked bowl.
He has noted similarity to another work he sold by Doris Dutch.

Sorry about the pics again, down to overcast sky.

I have a DVD of Doris Dutch's work, but for some reason it won't open for me. She did use this technique of cutting through the clay with a needle as decoration, but I have only seen her work marked, so I have my doubts that this is hers. The cut-outs on the base ring are unusual too. Sorry I've been no help Smile
