Re: Was this mug made by Gwenda Spence?
Heck I'm not sure Kat as a different G stamp has been used for this mug to the one in the Marks book. So I will wait for further information.

I have a piece of his and his G stamp is very small.

Re: Was this mug made by Gwenda Spence?
A dealer in Upper Hutt had a pot by this man on offer. I didn't want it but made a note of the mark - certainly not small but then a a great no. of potters have stamps of various sizes don't they. Liberty Books is the business and I hate to think how much I have spent there as He has masses o0f pottery - my most recent a little pot made by Smisek at St Ives with both marks!!!!
