"RvP" mark for GALLERY on a mug

This mug is marked for maker RvP on the base, and location and date, Hopai (Marlborough) 2000, on the body, which should all be helpful but I haven't worked it out.

This rings Dutch bells with those initials, not that I can find a name to match either
