Another R mark .....
I am trying to resist getting pots of unknown origin. However some just jump out at me and appear to be irresistible !! This is a teeny pot beautifully made and has gold lustre decoration which makes it ping. Very hard to capture on camera though. It has just a plain R on the base written when the pot was leather hard.
I love this darling little piece

Mystery R Mark
Hi Ev, the R mark on your lovely pot resembles one on a large platter I have. I bought it at the Avondale Markets 7 or so years ago and even though it has a crack (from firing I think) I really love the colours and decoration. I'd love to know who the clever potter who made it was." />
