I've been checking out this old 1988 catalogue and the cereal bowl in this pic could be the same as your Homestyle one?? It is shape number 4073 and comes from the same catalogue that includes Homestyle .... Does yours sit this wide inside a Luncheon Plate?

This does look like the shape but mine is 26cm diameter which is a dinner plate size. Marl

I can't believe how big that Homestyle bowl is compared to the Taranto one
So that sorts out my theory .... utterly and completely....

On a second note:- Interesting pattern on the 3050- 3051  mug, I reckon they are an "afterthought" to jazz up the plain pink - going with the 80's era

Here is the coffee pot.... interesting that I have the jug which is not grey.... it's more of a liliac colour. I wonder what set the jug belongs to.?
Edits (17sept 2018) .... I have just realized that this jug belongs to Decorative Touch and its a perfect colour match to my dish
