Titian Butterfly for wall decorated by Titian

This butterfly has been decorated by Titian Studio not Salisbury should it go in the Titian gallery?

Is it the 912 Butterfly haselnuss?  Gosh that should be in the Titian Gallery already

Yes, It is the 912 but the green one in the gallery has been supplied by Titian as a bisque blank to Salisbury who have decorated it.

My blue Titian Studio 912 has been decorated and glazed by Titian. Therefore I think it should be in the Titian gallery as it is 100% Titian Studio made and decorated plus glazed.

Ok, I've added your photo haselnuss. Gosh there are a massive amount of Crown Lynn photos in the Gallery that have been decorated by Salisbury's, but I will gladly replace them if any glazed ones turn up.

I am a bit obsessed with Titian (the Brown family) being acknowledged for their work and for people to understand that they are not Crown Lynn.

I know that for a short time Crown Lynn was a stakeholder in their company and that Crown Lynn bought them out.

But what about all the Sherwood, Titian years before and Adelaar, Orzel and Aquila after.

I don't know if it is as important to change the Salisbury painted Crown Lynn pieces in the gallery as it is widely known that they were made by Crown Lynn.

The 912 wall butterfly is often listed as Crown Lynn because of the number and the Salisbury paint work.
