Hi, I have a large Crown Lynn collection of' Sovereign British' design and would really like to know the age. Can anyone help? It is a cream colour with gold stripes around the edges.
Thanks CB

Re: Sovereign British
Hi there and welcome to the site
According to Val Monk the Sovereign British stamp is from the 1950's and 1960's.

Re: Sovereign British
Hi CB, this is Val. What an interesting pattern to collect! It is quite stylish and I love the Sovereign back stamps.
So far as I can work out Crown Lynn stopped using 'British' back stamps in the early 1960s. I don't think that anyone has found a specific date but no doubt that will be revealed in years to come!
