more platters from The Garden Party
I actually bought these round platters on TradeMe - a local pickup so didn't break the bank. I love their fresh bright summery colours. Very Auckland! The platter on the left is 36 cm across, the Rangitoto one is 30 cm. Both have the same style of mark on the base, but different numbers - plate numbers 399 and 299 perhaps?
This rectangular platter is 25 cm long and 15 across. It has a stamp I haven't seen before and a sticker. 'Crackle glaze' is a bit of a misnomer for bad crazing but there you go. I am pretty sure I have seen the lily on the sticker on other Garden Party ware.
