Rosemary has now gone to Potters Heaven so I was pleased to find a mug that she made.  I had a beautiful sculptural piece of hers but a hanging speaker crashed down one night and smashed it.  Rosemary was an artist who also made pottery and was extremely talented.

A little lustred pot caught my eye today and I was happy to see that it was made by Rosemary McGowan. We learnt pottery together at Manurewa High School in 1975.
I'm happy to record her Rosie mark Very Happy

Rosemary McGowan Empty Mums Pottery

Post  Nmcgowan Sun 14 Nov - 20:51

Hi,

It’s Rosie’s son Neil here, I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed some of the pottery that Mum made. I have many memories of Mum making her pieces and it’s nice knowing that some are still around and that they’ve been meaningful to others.

Seeing Mums signature and stamp on the bottom of her pieces has brought a smile to my face. Thanks for posting them.
