Chris did many saggar firings using a gas kiln.
He would put seaweed and shells in the saggar with the unglazed pots
and they would come out of the firings with wonderful glowing natural colours.

The Potters Marks book and NZ Potters site have spelt Chris' name incorrectly !!!
