at last a Rancich
I don't usually spot the old vases at the opshops (or turn my nose up at them for one reason or another) so I was delighted that I was allowed to win this Jovan Rancich vase for only $2 on trademe.

12.5cm H x 11 at top x 14 at belly x 8 at base, handthrown
No dimensions on the listing so it is bigger than I was expecting.
I think it is a matt yellow glaze rather than paint.
There are a few chips but could easily be tidied up.
It looks like some in the gallery but I don't know their dimensions and the gallery images are not linked to the posts to find out.

two separate stamps
This takes the pressure off me for finding Rancich now.
I have just a small old pottery vase collection, most of which can be seen here.
