There are two Clayathon trips planned for this year !!
They are overflowing with interesting potters and Galleries.

An excellent day filled with marvellous potters, potteries, Galleries and great company yesterday.

On up to Elena Renka's studio at Albany and this was full of delicious pots that were irresistable:

Next was the Piece Gallery at the Matakana Farmers Market and this was filled with many of our top potters work. This piece by Merilyn Wiseman was my personal favourite:

Then on to The Vivian and a tour of Morris and James pottery, which I can highly recommend. Where pots are extruded 2cm thick and as high as required for the potters to finish off manually:
