Yesterday I went to the Studio Ceramics factory and said a sad goodbye to Phillipa and chose two pieces of their pottery for my collection.
There is a closing down sale on and everything was half price which enabled me to choose two pieces.  I chose distinctly New Zealand pieces which are not made by anyone else, however I really wanted a piece of their Maori Willow, but there wasn't any in the shop, although I just saw a piece in a shop online somewhere recently ....
It was all rather sad, but they are quite busy at the moment with heaps of orders to fill from people who have found out that they are closing.

Phillipa gave Te Toi Uku a car load of their pottery and all of the Catalogues that they had including Christine Harris ware.  The patterns are endless and we have only scratched the surface.  All of the patterns have names and samples too.

I like your choices Ev.

Great to hear that they are reserving their place in history with the assistance Te Toi Uku.
