A W or W A mark Taupo from the Ferret
Does anyone know this mark? Having Taupo stamped on the base should make it a bit easier to identify. Photos courtesy of the Ferret.

A clue maybe?
I was off on a tangent looking through Ceramics NZ potters marks and came across Peter Anderson's marks. He has one very similar to this and I wondered if it was a clue or maybe even a match? I know Taupo is a distance from Waihi, but one never knows when a connection will show. I also have an item with what looks like the same mark, but the orientation is different

Re: A W or W A mark Taupo from the Ferret
These are definitely the same mark nana, but I don't see it as a match for Peter Anderson.
Very close though, but not close enough, so we will keep looking.
Thank you and can you please add a photo of the pot that your mark is on?
Cheers Ev
