Four curious mugs by "Sue"
I finally succumbed to this set from trademe.
Four mugs marked "Sue 01".

Hand coloured with trailed decoration.
Well-thrown mugs, each with pressed handles and three bun feet.
(... making them tripod mugs!)
The location of the seller, the decoration, and the name "Sue", together make me suspect these could be the work of Sue Dasler. Although they are less refined than Sue's current wares they are nevertheless made to a very high standard.
Sue Dasler was back from Australia by 2001.
