Ev - going back to the Auckland Museum notes that I have.
In the Decoration book there is an entry "Tropic" 128( forma shape.)

Just guessing here.... do you think this relates to 4 "solid" colour glaze colors like other "tropic" shapes;
Deco 128 Tropic with the 805 and 3019 came in Tango Blue, olive green, brown and Bronze.

Or is could it relate to the white forma with coloured band??? umm....
Maybe we should ask everyone to have a look at what they have

We know the forma shape came in white with a Blue band and white with a Gold/bronze band - I do have some of these but where they be? I'll have a look

I will have to revisit this when I get a chance Janice. I have some of the Forma with an edge band, but have never considered that they might be the Tropic series. Will look tomorrow at my resources. Good on you for thinking about this.

I have some of these Forma with coloured bands too and will also look them out.
Fi is asking about them on the Skite Site and really it's only these and the Autumn Splendour and Golden Harvest that we haven't sorted out plus this Tropic, so we can home in on this lot now.

Looking through old ad's from Auckland Museum:

Data Base has Tropic d128 (New)

New Tropic Ware:  These are solid colour coffee cans and the big 3020 mug and come in Tangerine, Brown, Tango Blue, Olive Green, Bronze and Oyster.  This ad is from around 1967 as it shows both currencies.

Tropic Harlequin Breakfast Cups .... in 6 colours the old 754 shape in 6 colours. 29c

Capri cups 6 colours same 754 shape 29c ....?

Harlequin Coffee Mugs shape 3019

So that didn't help much ....

Found a new pattern name: Carnival which came in 6 colours pre 1967 though.

Ev, the five colours I have are tango blue, olive, oyster, brown, and the vibrant yellow is a tinge orangey.... could be tangerine? I'm intrigued by bronze?

The shape of the Tropic isn't the Forma and it shows up before the Forma was invented.  However the colours may well be similar.  You are just missing the Black band one Fi.
