Wendy Schultz - Rusty Nail Pottery
Recently The Quarry Arts Centre received a very generous donation of kiln shelves from potter Wendy Schultz & her husband kiln helper Peter who are now retired.
Wendy potted full time for about 15yrs as Rusty Nail Pottery, Waipu.
I spoke to Peter & he drew me Wendy's potters mark..she made domestic wares & green animal figurines in her diesel fired kiln..locals remember her Rusty Nail Pottery sign on SH1.
This is Peters drawing, its SCH.
