Hi Ev

I brought this stunning Crown Lynn 1940s 50s Dogs off E-Bay from Australia. I cant find any information on them apart from a post on the net which was an auction house that sold a pair of Crown Lynn pointer dogs in the late 80s for $300. There was no picture just a description. I use it collect a lot of Crown Lynn but now I just look for very rare pieces like this one. There are no photos on the net of these two dogs at all. Maybe you can help me locate some information on this piece?

Hi there,  your profile pic looks like the 179 Pointer Dogs that Crown Lynn made.  I have a faint memory that there was some discussion about them being copied from an English pottery?  Not sure, but yours look like they have the Crown Lynn early stamp on them.  Good to see you back in here Very Happy

I heard of a coloured version of these dogs but have never seen them.
