An oddity piece of Apollo from Royal Rose Pottery Canada
Thanks to TonyK for alerting me to this ebay listing, as it's an Apollo pattern that I've never seen before with base markings that include the words Royal Rose Pottery Canada ....

Dale Ritter would probably know the story behind this Apollo plate ....

Re: An oddity piece of Apollo from Royal Rose Pottery Canada
Hi,
Not produced during my time in Canada.
It is definitly a Crown Lynn Apollo plate with what looks like a fairly standard transfer/decal applied and an additional backstamp.
Crown Lynn had a policy of not supplying blanks to other manufacture's but it could be when they closed the Canadian operation they sold off the stock.
Have not heard of Royal Rose Pottery Canada.
Sorry, not much help
Dale
