Who made this Rheem mug with distinctive handle?

I am sure this is NZ pottery, but any ideas who would have made it? The handle is possibly a give-away. Jeremy?

Looks to be slip cast, as the very fine crack is only just on the base and directly through the centre.

I have a Steiner University of Auckland mug that reminds me of.
I'll see if it's handy.

the mugs don't have a foot like this but the cups do.

This looks like a rip-off of a Steiner shape. Steiner's mugs are a much more elegant shape with a larger finger hole and a proper formed foot. Steiner is an artist/craftsman. I

Ther was someone in Nelson making mugs with similar handles too but I cannot remember who.
