Re: Heritage for gallery
Hi there, Heritage 1800 was one of the first patterns posted into the Gallery in 2009. It is a series of old homesteads and we only put one into the Gallery.
The Heritage d293 series is exactly the same as Heritage 1800 in shape and patterns and I've never thought to put it into the Gallery as well.
Do you think we should have both?
I have no idea why they have done this, other than to puzzle people long after the fact

Re: Heritage for gallery
Hi Ev, I was following the threads/conversations about the Heritage range and knew that both of these are known. My quick answer is yes, these varieties of pattern could go into the gallery, even though the pattern numbers are the same. My background in retail takes me down a path and logic thinking. I worked for a large company where everything was barcoded. One style would come in a variety of colours and sizes. All of these varieties had their own barcode and where their own identities. I think that that is why I see each variety of pattern as its own identity or sub category. As a collection it would be interesting to see what kind of range was put out. I am currently preparing a cull of my collection (the man calls it a hoard). I will post anything I don't find in the gallery with the knowledge if it isn't needed it won't be used.
