10,000 of the Empire Games mugs were sold in 1950 - as per July 1968 New Zealand Ceramics magazine

They were also made in full colour too.

I found this coloured one at the Antiques and Bottle Show on the weekend

Even the Tiki is coloured. This has a wee crack in it, which I mentioned to the seller, and as it was the end of the show, and he was packing to leave, he gave it to me for free! So lucky  Razz
