A nice little sugar bowl with an unusual mark, but I have no idea what it is supposed to look like:

Only the person who made it would know what it was all about.

Looks rather like a winged lion - maybe a potter with the surname Griffin

There was/is a Mark Griffin, but I couldn't find out his mark or anything much else. And it's only a speculation anyway! Smile

Yep, found a Mark Griffin on LinkedIn, calling himself a Broadcasting Specialist Ceramic Artist /Educator, from Auckland. But no potter's mark. Sad
