This pattern shows up in adverts in Australian papers in 1972.
I'm certain that I have a Pattern Number for this .... somewhere, but I've yet to find it.
This pattern has Duck Egg accessories, e.g. saucers, salt and pepper, the main body of the sugar pot, salad bowl, platter, luncheon plate and jug.

Are Marigold and Gold 42974 on Forma actually the same colour? Does anyone have both to compare? Thanks.

Marigold is a Colour Glaze colour name and can be found on cups and jugs etc.
It is the same colour as Gold 42974 (Forma) which your fabulous serving bowl is part of.
The Gold Forma pattern has Duck Egg pieces that go with it and it tones it down somewhat.
You can find more info in this thread from Dale Ritter who worked at Crown Lynn:

Thanks Ev. Just checking they were in fact the same colour. I don't have a fabulous serving bowl but wish I did. Maybe you are thinking of someone else who has one.Very Happy
