Many thanks to Tony Richardson for letting us use his photos of this unique Rancich/Silva vase.
It has the number 44 stamped on the base and I would say that this was made by Jovan Rancich, as he was the instigator of these lovely numbered vases and he onsold high fired pieces to Salisbury to decorate. Owen Salisbury's son only remembers the name Rancich when it came to these hand potted vases.
