My friend Lindy says this bowl was made by Rachel Silver. Lindy bought quite a bit of Silver's work when when she had a tearooms with attached gallery. Lindy says she used to sell fair bit of Rachell's work and kept what was left over when she shut up shop. Rachel Silver lived and worked in a warehouse in Grey Lynn.  An online search turned up a NZ mosaic artist called Rachel Silver - I wonder if this is the same person.
