Warwick Lidgard
I fell in love with this casserole around 30 years ago....
it was a bit expensive at the time, but I had to have it!
I've never been able to work out who made it.... until today.
Thanks to the Marks of New Zealand Potters book and Tony's idea that Frank.. someone might be Frank Light. Tony was right about Frank Light by the way. OMG I love this site!
I must have looked at that book hundreds of times too, but it took Frank Light to guide me to Warwick's mark.
I'm really stoked to find that I have a piece of Warwick Lidgard's work

Warwick Lidgard's mark ..
[ I kept thinking it might be a Lawrence Ewing back to front mark!]

Latest hospice shop find
It's not often that you find really cheap buys in Hospice shops these days but I do consider both my Bendigo salt pot (elsewhere on the forum) and this beautiful Warwick Lidgard at $4 real finds.
And I'm not supposed to be collecting any more!

Re: Warwick Lidgard
Wow you don't see much of his work any more!!
I have a casserole that I got about 30 years ago, but I've stopped using it now that I have identified his mark.

I found a Warwick Lidgard Casserole at a Sally shop several months back. Very similar in style to the one you have - pictured elsewhere on this forum. Cost me a couple of dollars!
